Meet A Mountaineer

After the EHS girls team placed 10th and the boys team placed 26th at the District III cross country meet last weekend, individual finalists Ella Pfautz and Kyle Reidenbaugh are headed to the state meet ! Congrats, Mountaineers & best wishes at states!

The annual 9th grade STEM Summit is an opportunity for students work together on a variety of projects themed around science, technology, engineering and math. Thank you to Jr. Achievement and the many volunteers who made this memorable day possible for our students!

As National School Lunch Week comes to an end, we are sending a loud SHOUT-OUT (and an "AHOY, MATEY") to our amazing food service staff! Thank you for all you do!

This week kicked off the fall preschool session at EHS. High school students in early childhood courses lead a variety of learning sessions to help these young Mountaineers get ready for Kindergarten, from name interactive recognition/spelling activities to sensory crafts and much more!

The August School Board Resolutions included student athlete Softball Coaches Association state honors, Dr. Laura Mandell earning a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, and School Board members’ recognition for many commendable years of service.

These students are headed to the state FFA Convention at Penn State tomorrow. Today, they are practicing a variety of horse handling techniques before demonstrating their skills to the convention judges. Good luck and have fun, Mountaineers!

REMINDER! Tomorrow - June 6 - is the last day of school! Dismissal Times: Middle School: 11:55 AM High School: 12:00 PM Elementary Schools: 12:40 PM Intermediate School: 12:45 PM Breakfast will be served. Lunch will be served to students in Grades 1-6 only.

Due to severe weather conditions in the forecast for this evening, graduation will be postponed to Thursday, June 6 at 7:00 PM at War Memorial Field. We will continue to monitor the forecast for Thursday and make any decisions about additional adjustments by noon tomorrow.
